Human Resources

The City's Human Resources office provides support to all departments of the City. Our primary function is to be a consulting resource for city management and employees by providing expertise in the following areas:

  • Employment and Employment Related Law Compliance
  • Compensation
  • Benefits and Benefit Administration
  • Workers Compensation
  • Personnel Administration
  • Insurance (Property, Liability, Health, Disability, Life)
  • Pension and Retirement Adminstration (Defined Benefit and Defined Contribution)
  • Drug Free Workplace

Our staff consists of the Director, a Human Resources Generalist, and a Human Resources Coordinator.

We endeavor to maintain a competitive compensation and benefits package as well as to create an atmosphere of challenging and rewarding employment in order to attract and retain the highest caliber employees.

Our goal, not just for the Human Resources office, but for the entire City Government, is to be the best at everything we do. This is a lofty goal, but why wouldn't we strive to be the best? We believe our citizens deserve it.
