	POLICE OFFICER	The City of Dalton is currently taking applications for the position of Police Officer with the Dalton Police Department. Qualified candidates must meet the criteria set forth by the Georgia Peace Officer Standards and Training Council (POST), be at least 21 years of age, and have a high school diploma or equivalent, with college preferred. Must be a United States Citizen. A City of Dalton application must be filled out and received by the job closing date of May 30, 2008 at 5:00 p.m. EST.
	PART-TIME CONCESSIONS AND WAIT STAFF	Applications are currently being accepted for the position of Part-Time Concessions and Wait Staff for the Northwest Georgia Trade and Convention Center. These positions are responsible for concession sales, service, and food preparation in a fast paced environment. The work schedule is flexible for days, evenings, weekends, and some holidays. Starting pay is $8.00 per hour. Applications may be obtained at the Human Resources Office in City Hall, 300 West Waugh Street, Dalton, GA 30720. 	SUMMER HELP - GROUNDS KEEPER	The City of Dalton currently is accepting applications for the part time positions of Grounds Keeper with the Dalton Parks and Recreation Center. This work is for summer time help. Pay for this position will be $6.85 per hour. A City of Dalton application must be completed and returned by the job closing date of May 30, 2008 at 5:00 p.m. EST. 	CART ATTENDANTS	The City of Dalton currently is accepting applications for Cart Attendants at the Nob North Golf Course. This is a seasonal position.
