Alcoholic Beverage Fees
1. Each person manufacturing or selling distilled spiritsin the city shall pay an annual license as follows:
- Manufacturer...$5,000.00
- Wholesaler...$100.00
- Retailer, package only...$5,000.00
- Pouring...$2,000.00
- Private club, pouring only... $2.000.00
- Temporary permit...$100.00
- Local caterer or concessionaire...$2,000.00
- Preferred caterer and concessionaire...$4,000.00
2. Each person Manufacturing or selling malt beverages in the city shall pay an annual license fee as follows:
- Manufacturer...$5,000.00
- Wholesaler...$100.00
- Retailer, package only...$750.00
- Pouring...$750.00
- Temporary permit...$50.00
- Local caterer or concessionaire...$375.00
- Brew pub...$5,000.00
- Preferred caterer and concessionaire...$750.00
3. Each person manufacturing or selling wine in the city shall pay an annual license fee as follows:
- Wholesaler...$100.00
- Retailer, package only...$750.00
- Pouring...$750.00
- Temporary permit...$50.00
- Local caterer or concessionaire...$375.00
- Preferred caterer and concessionaire...$750.00
4. The license fee for in-room service shall be $500.00
Adult Entertainment License Fees
- A Non-Refundable Administrative Fee And Advertisement Fee Of $150.00 Dollars Must Be Paid At The Time Completed Application Is Filed With The City Clerk’s Office. The Fee Covers The Cost Of Processing And Advertisement.
Dance Hall License Fees
- It shall be unlawful for any person to operate or conduct a dancehall within the city without a license. The fee for the license shall be $500.00 annually.
Pawnbrokers Fees
- It shall be unlawful for any person or entity to act as a pawnbroker or to operate a pawnshop in the city without a current pawnbroker permit. The fee for the permit shall be $50.00 Annually.
Horse Drawn Carriage Fees
- Before any license is granted an administrative fee for the licensed activity in the amount of $100.00 shall be paid.
Insurance Businesses Fees
- There Is Hereby Levied for the Year 2004 and for Each Year Thereafter an Annual License Fee upon Each Insurer Doing Business Within the City of Dalton, Georgia in the Amount of $100.00.For Each Separate Business Location in Excess of One Not Covered by Section 26-78, Which Is Operating on Behalf of Such Insurers Within the City of Dalton Georgia, There Is Hereby Levied a License Fee in the Amount of $100.00.
Occupational Tax
- $100.00 Administrative Fee plus
- for the First 25 Employees = $20.00 per Employee
- for the next 25 Employees = $18.00 per Employee
- for the next 50 Employees = $16.00 per Employee
- for the next 100 Employees = $14.00 per Employee
- for the next 300 Employees = $13.00 per Employee
- for Each Additional Employee =$12.00 per Employee
Special Events
- The fee for a permit to conduct a special event shall be based on all services to be provided by the government for such event and shall be equal to the estimated actual cost to the government to provide such services unless expressly waived by the city administrator. The initial permit fee shall be the aggregate of the estimated costs of such services calculated by each government department. If, at the conclusion of the event, the cost of government services is greater than the initial payment, the producer of the event shall be billed for the difference. Failure to pay the outstanding amount within 30 days of the billing date shall be a violation of this chapter.
- The initial permit fee must be paid in full prior to the issuance of a permit and no later than 72 hours prior to the date of the event.
- The fees required in this section shall be in addition to any other fees which may be required by any other ordinances or regulations that might be applicable.
- No producer of any special event, except as otherwise provided for, shall be exempt from the payment of the appropriate fees and charges required under this chapter.
- The fee for this permit is $300.00
