Paying a fine

Pay a fine (posting a cash bond) before your court date

    • The Judge of Municipal Court allows many violations to be paid prior to your scheduled court date. This is referred to by the court as posting a cash bond. If you wish to post a cash bond, it must be done prior to the court date.
  • However, if you received more than one citation and any of those citations are for a Mandatory Appearance you will be required to come to court.
  • To post a cash bond by mail, please send money order (ONLY), payable to the City of Dalton, and a copy or your citation(s) to:

  • When you pay in person, we accept cash, money orders VISA or MASTERCARD
