
Human Resources Office of the City of Dalton
The Human Resources Department is responsible for the administration and oversight of the following:
- Health Plan
- Defined Benefit Retirement Plan
- Defined Contribution Retirement Plan
- Workers Compensation Program
- Employee Health and Wellness Program
- Life Insurance Plan
- Long Term Disability Plan
- Drug Free Workplace Program
Human Resources also coordinates the hiring process for the City Departments and processes approximately 1200 applications per year. In addition, the Human Resources Department facilitates and coordinates training opportunities for supervisors and other employees as needed.
Human Resources employs three full time staff, including the Director, a Payroll Assistant, and Human Resources Assistant.
The City of Dalton participates in E-Verify in order to confirm work authorization under the Federal ID #586000557, Company ID #46948. Date of Authorization was July 10, 2007.
