Councilman Ward Two, J. Richard “Dick” Lowrey

J. Richard “Dick” Lowrey, Councilman Ward Two: Mr. Lowrey graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from LaGrange College and went on to Boston College for 1-year post graduate work. He was elected to the Council in 2005 and now serves as Mayor Pro-Tem. Mr. Lowrey is married to Jean Smith Lowrey and has a daughter, Kristen.

He serves as a liaison for the Airport Authority, Downtown Dalton Development Authority, Public Works Committee and the Metropolitan Planning Organization Policy Committee.
