  1. Any business which is conducted exclusively for the patronage of adults and as to which minors are specifically excluded from patronage thereat either by law or by the operators of such business;
  2. Any business, other than those expressly specified in this article, where employees or patrons expose specified anatomical areas or engage in specified sexual activities; or
  3. Any other business or establishment which offers its patrons services or entertainment characterized by an emphasis on matter depicting, describing, discussing or relating to specified sexual activities or specified anatomical areas

Dance Hall

  • Any place of business or leased nonresidential building where dancing is indulged in or permitted either by the owner or the lessee if applicable, of such premises, whether on a regular basis or not, whether a fee or admission is charged or not, and where music therefore is supplied by any means whatsoever.

Horse-drawn Carriage
  • Any hack or carriage which is operated by being drawn by a horse, mule or other beast of burden, for the transportation for hire of passengers.

  • Any person, whether an owner or not, who works in a pawnshop on a regular basis and in a managerial capacity whereby the person has charge of the business or operations of the pawnshop. Pawnbroker includes any person whose business or occupation it is to take or receive, by way of pledge, pawn or exchange, any goods, wares or merchandise or any kind of personal property whatever, as security for the repayment of money lent thereon.

  • Any organized activity having as its purpose entertainment, recreation and/or education, such as a festival or celebration, foot or vehicle race, parade or march, rally or assembly which takes place on a public street, sidewalk or right-of-way, or occurs on private property and impacts government services on public rights-of-way.

Any person, corporation, partnership, association, joint stock company, trust or unincorporated organization which, through door-to-door solicitation, engages in the practice of:  

  1. Selling or taking orders for or offering to sell or take orders for goods, merchandise, wares, or other items of value for further delivery, or services to be performed in the future, for commercial purposes; or
  2. Requesting contributions of funds, property, or anything of value or the pledge of any type of future donation or selling or offering for sale any type or property, including but not limited to goods, tickets, books, and pamphlets, for political, charitable, religious, or other noncommercial purposes.
